A timer that breathes with you

Start a timer and let it be. A calm screen, a slow breathing circle, and an ongoing notification (a Live Activity on iPhone) so you can leave the app and come back. Tap “I’m done” when you are.

See your last 30 days at a glance: how often, how long, which kinds of tears. We estimate your volume in playful units (“about a teacup”) and tell tear facts, including science facts that cite their studies. With Saltwater+, your whole history opens up, year after year.

Add up to five friends for free and share a cry with all of them, or keep it just for you. They can send a hug or a kind comment, and you’ll know when a friend is crying right now. You can report or block anyone.

Your cries are yours.

Everything is private by default. A cry stays yours unless you choose to share it, cry by cry, and your private notes and “write it out” entries are never shared. No ads, no selling your data. Delete your account in the app and your entries go with it.
